Selling PLR means giving up some control. But that doesn't mean you can't protect your work.
I've learned how to protect my designs while still offering the flexibility buyers want. Here's how to do it right.
Hi, I'm Ki — the founder of Ki's Digital PLR & MRR. I created this brand in 2024 after building a successful business and serving thousands of customers who, like me, started with a dream and a side hustle. Along the way, I realized that most digital products were made for consumers, not for business owners who wanted to sell them. That's why I built this store — to empower creators, entrepreneurs, and dreamers with high-quality PLR (Private Label Rights) and MRR (Master Resell Rights) products that can be fully rebranded and resold as your own. Every product we offer is designed to save you time, boost your income potential, and help you grow your brand without the stress of starting from scratch. I work with skilled designers and analysts to make sure each item is trendy, market-ready, and built for success.
Beyond our digital products, we also share valuable tips and insights on marketing, branding, and business strategies — helping you make the most out of your PLR and MRR journey every step of the way.
Why Protection Matters
You want buyers to customize your planner, but you don't want them claiming they created it from scratch or violating your license terms. Clear licensing and smart branding protect your work.
How to Protect Your PLR Planner
Step 1: Create Clear License Terms
Specify exactly what buyers can and can't do. Can they resell? Rebrand? Use for client work? Give away for free? Make it crystal clear in your license agreement.
Step 2: Add Subtle Branding
Include a small credit or watermark on a non-essential page. This doesn't interfere with customization but shows the planner's origin.
Step 3: Deliver as PDF, Not Editable Files
Provide the final planner as a PDF and the Canva link for editing. This prevents buyers from claiming full ownership of the original design files.
Step 4: Monitor for Violations
Occasionally search for your planner design online. If someone's violating your license, reach out professionally and request compliance.
